Joshua predicts Peter's denial again
55 Therefore,
when he was gone out, Joshua said, Nowis the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
56 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.
57 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
58 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
59 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
60 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Joshua answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
61 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.
62 Joshua answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
63 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing?And they said, Nothing.
64 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
65 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me
66 And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
67 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
