The Only Good New That Gives Hope Beyond The Grave

Season 5. The reality of his persecution and passion for mankind Begins. Episode 51. scene 198.
Joshua is led away to be crucified
And they took Joshua, and led him away. He bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.
And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.
But Joshua turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children
For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck
Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us
For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry? [ for they had laid on themselves curse of the cross ]
And they bring him unto the place Golgotha.
And they gave him to drink wine (vinegar) mingled with myrrh (gall): and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JOSHUA OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Joshua was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.
